About Liz

Welcome, beautiful souls!! My name is Liz, and I am thrilled to have you visiting my blog! Writing has been a passion of mine since Mrs. Downey’s fifth-grade class, where I won my first awards, by my peers, for my words and stories.

Growing up with strong faith, I knew God had given me a talent that He wanted me to use. It took me 21 years to get to a point of really following His calling for me, but I could not be happier with where I have landed. Thinking I would always write children’s books, He has pulled me in a direction better than I could have ever planned for myself.

Creating a space to encourage and support women, especially moms. You will find me sharing real-life stories about our growing babes, my experiences with anxiety, advice to mamas, and words that will encourage for days and weeks to come.

Family: I am married to my first-and-only college love. While we prayed and hoped for a little basketball team of boys, we have been beyond-blessed with four sweet, growing girls and a little miracle man. As a former elementary teacher of 12 years, I have a very special place in my heart for children. My family grounds me.

Style: I am a Midwestern girl trying to balance the line between city and country. I love nothing more than to be comfortable. Jeans, t-shirt, sweater, knee-high boots, and all the dark chocolate, pretty much sum up my style. Athletics and sports have always been at the forefront of my life, while still showcasing my inner girlie-girl. My faith has always been at the center of everything in my life. And, it remains at the core of my writing.

Purpose: This blog is my personal get-away, where I let my guard down in hopes of connecting with other amazing women and mothers through faith, experience, and support.

“No matter what you do, do it for the glory of God, and you are sure to be successful in all your endeavors.”

You are more courageous and worth more than you could ever imagine. The plans God has laid out for you are only just beginning…

I am SO excited to have you “here”!!

xoxo,

Liz
